Staying at Swarthmoor Hall
There is one suite at Swarthmoor Hall that is designed for full accessibility: Hampsfell. This has an accessible bathroom. The kitchen and living area in Hampsfell Suite has been designed with access in mind.
Visiting the Old Hall
Swarthmoor Hall is a Grade II Listed building, so there are limits to accessibility when visiting the Old Hall. Visitors in wheelchairs are only able to access the ground floor of the Hall, free of charge.
Conference Room
The conference room is on the ground floor. It is wheelchair accessible and has a fully accessible bathroom.
The Barn Café
The Barn Café is accessible on the ground floor.
Dogs at Swarthmoor
All the gardens and grounds are open for dogs on leads. Only assistance dogs are allowed in the Hall itself.
Gardens and Grounds
There is a flag-stone path that leads from the main reception to the gardens. There are some gravel paths in the garden, which may be difficult to navigate for those with limited mobility.
